I’m running Adobe Photoshop CS4 64-bit (I also have the 32-bit version installed, but it gives me the same problem) on Windows 7 RC.
No matter what I try to do in a new or existing document, I can only access the hand tool. Whether I click on the brush, the lasso, or the marquee, the hand is still the only thing to show up when I move my cursor to the page.
Does anyone know why this might be? I’m very frustrated as I can’t do anything in Photoshop. None of the other programs in the suite give me this problem. Why is Photoshop doing it?
The space-bar is not held down, and the tools in the tools palette do in fact appear selected, but the cursor does not change in any way to reflect the new tool; it remains a hand and it acts like a hand. That is, if I have an image opened, dragging the image with the hand will move the image correspondingly.
