I want to buy a power tool set from harbor freight for $80 it comes with the drill skill saw sawzall and flash light. Would you recomend I get this or something else?

What’s a good brand of power tool that will hold up under heavy use. I’m getting tired of wearing them out and buying new ones that fail after six months.

He has several types of big saws, and all the little power tools-drills, dremels (sp?), power sanders and the like. He is good at woodworking, but I don’t think he has many woodworking type tools. I’ve been thinking about buying a set of power tools to use in carpentry applications (Im tired of borrowing my grandfathers). I’m in the process of remodeling my home and need a circular saw, a drill/screwgun and a recipricating saw. I saw the Milwaukee V28 set and it looks like just what I need. My grandfather who is a very experienced carpender tells me Milwaukee is a very good brand. Tell me what you think…..thanx.

My brother wants to know. He’s interested in trying this out as a hobby and now I’m curious. What types of tools would you need? How difficult would it be? Is it much different than building with power tools?
