Hi all I just moved into a new house and for the first time I have enough space to make a home wood shop. I want to mainly make clocks and some furniture. I had a small shop before this but could only do smaller projects the area I have now is a 3 car garage about 30 feet wide by fifteen feet long with 9 foot ceilings. It is heated and air conditioned with a cement floor. As far as tools I have a table saw a potable router table a small drill press and a sanding machine with both a belt and disk sander. I also have a small wheel grinder and a sharpening grinder (the water type) I ordered a Carve wright woodcarving machine that should be here thursday but wondering what other tools i should have? things like lathes,planers etc I have all kinds of hand tools and clamps. Also wondering if I should cover my floor with either a rubberized coating or something to cut down on fatigue? Any thought would be appreciated/ Oh as far as a budget goes I have about 7 thousand in my tool fund but would like to get good equipment I’m thinking either DeWalt or Grizzly I have a Grizzly store not to far from me.

ok so a lil background, i really enjoy listening to scratching and watching dj’s do it, not just the noise but mixing beats and songs all while playing not making beats then listening to them on my computer, although a pc connection would be cool but not needed. i wanna pull back on a record and use my crossfader and volume control knobs and well i think u get it =]

ok so i have a budget of $250 for 1 turntable, ill get a second one after if i get more into it or if i just get the money and im still haveing fun with it. and another $250 for a mixer. but i would rather my whole set be around 400 not 500.

i’ve researched a bit and im looking at either a gemini TT2000 or a similar numark but i’ve come to understand that numark is a newer company and possibly has … lest tested… equipment, i dont wanna waste my time with junk so if a $150 TT is junk and $230 is better thanks for the advice.

This flashlight uses double A batteries and the batteries have swelled to a point where they do not drop out, so I can replace them…instead of buying a new flashlite its easier to use new batteries…so any suggestions?

What is different between a laser beam and a flashlight? What are applications for laser light sources where regular light sources cannot be used?

I noticed small piles of what I assume are bat droppings on the hardwood attic floor. The pellets are dry and dusty now. The attic is not insulated, but the whole floor should probably be cleaned, not just where the droppings are. Probably talking about 1000 sq, ft, roughly – its a big attic in an old Victorian house. What protective gear to wear, if necessary? What method – sweep, vacuum, mop or what? Any other tips?

said that the azotobacter is fluorescent pigment…
can anyone told me how to test the bacteria that i was isolated is fluorescent ….???????
need what chemical or equipment ?????
